The Desugar Principle uses a Japanese Technology which initially soaks the rice in water, then as it cooks, the steam forms a pressure around the pots and squeezes the starch and sugar content out of the rice and separates it into the water below. Thus, the starch and sugar content of the cooked rice is reduced by as much as 50%.
